Forecast WinDriver - part of the Forecast family of integrated performance and load testing products

Forecast WinDriver automates the user interface. Sometimes this is the only practical method of performance testing an application.  This can occur where there are no protocol-level interfaces available for generating load, or it would not be cost effective to develop load tests at the protocol level.

Forecast WinDriver can run many concurrent virtual users in the same way as a protocol-based load test, but each VU drives one instance of the client application by automating the user interface.  The application instances can be hosted on multiple desktop PCs, a Windows Terminal Server or a Citrix server.
