Network traffic - WinSock and OSI

ForecastTM can create realistic load by sending and receiving data using protocols such as TCP/IP or the OSI Transport layer. This approach is used to test "Green Screen" applications using protocols like TN3270 and other widely used messaging systems and applications that implement proprietary protocols. ForecastTM provides full record and replay for both the TCP and OSI protocol families with the ability to intelligently vary dynamic data during replay.

Database clients

ForecastTM supports a range of database clients. It has a recorder and script generator for clients that communicate via ODBC. There is also a configurable generator that can create test scripts from SQL traces such as SQL Server diagnostics. Forecast'sTM design allows the easy integration of additional DBMS client support.
